In his book Mere Christianity, CS Lewis wrote that Jesus was either indeed the son of the LORD as claimed, a liar, or a lunatic. I agree with him. If Jesus was telling the truth, then Jesus was indeed son of the LORD. If Jesus was not the son of the LORD, yet claimed that identity, then he was a liar. If Jesus was not the son of the LORD, yet thought he was the son of the LORD and claimed that identity, knowing fully well that he would suffer at the cruel cross for doing that, then he was a lunatic.
Note that “good man” and “great teacher” are not among the 3 options. If Jesus was a liar, then he was not a good man. If Jesus was a lunatic, he could not be a great teacher.
